What is high purity gas in oil and gas field compressor?

Purified Gases, a gas industry term, usually refers to gases with a certain grade of purity that can be achieved by modern purification technology.

High-purity gas has different purity indexes for different types of gases. For example, for nitrogen, hydrogen, argon and helium, it usually means that the purity is equal to or higher than 99.999%;

For oxygen, the purity of 99.99% can be called high purity oxygen;

As for hydrocarbons, those with a purity of 99.99% can be considered as high-purity gases.

High-purity gas has a wide application field. In semiconductor industry, high-purity nitrogen, hydrogen, argon and helium can be used as carrier gas and protective gas.

High purity gas can be used as the bottom gas for preparing mixed gas.

High-purity gas can be divided into organic high-purity gas and inorganic high-purity gas according to different molecular structures.
